The BEST Detox bath!

This detox bath is my go to when I’m starting to feel under the weather, when my muscles are aching from a workout or when I need an amazing night of sleep! I use this recipe once a week, and increase the frequency if I feel like I’m coming down with something.

Detox baths are a great way to get magnesium (from Epsom salts), a crucial mineral for optimum body function. Baking soda is extremely cleansing and purifying, and peroxide has a host of wellness benefits. Combine these with theraputic essential oils for targeted support and you have a winning combination!

Combine the following before adding water to the tub:

  • 1 to 2 cups each of Epsom salts (unscented) and aluminum free baking soda

  • 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide

  • 5+ drops of Young Living essential oils - you can grab my favorite starter bundle here

  • Fill the tub with warm water and soak 15-20 minutes

  • This recipe is idea for kids ages 10+. Cut the recipe in half for kids ages 5-10, and by 1/4 for kids ages 2-5. Choose gentle oils such as Frankincense and Lavender for kiddos as well!
